I'm so bad

It's obvious that I haven't been blogging lately.  I don't like this.  This blog was originally meant to help keep me inspired to climb and train in preparation for climbing trips.  Before, I used trips as the main outlet for my climbing.  This was a bad thing.  I would inevitably climb poorly, get overly sore, freak out when leading, and frustrate the crap out of myself when I wasn't able to climb up to what I thought was my level.  Not a good situation.  I have written about my problem staying motivated extensively on this blog, and it is easy to see that it was that lack of motivation which inspired the title of this blog.  But if you were to use this blog as evidence, it would appear that the blog has done nothing.  Some of the posts are related to training, but let's face it, most of them are links to YouTube video's from our climbing trips.  The lack of posts in any quantity or regularity would lead you to believe that I have succumbed to my old habits.  It may be hard to fathom, but this is not true.  I have been climbing, and climbing a lot.  And when I go on climbing trips, for the most part, I climb well, and I climb at or above my ability level.  Maybe it wasn't the creation of the blog that did it for me, but perhaps the creation of the blog was a public and tangible expression of what I was thinking at the time about climbing and my lifestyle.  I thought that I was going to use the blog to keep me motivated, but I think I was already motivated.  So instead of always trying to write posts about staying motivated, I am going to start mixing in some other types of posts.  They will still mostly be climbing related, and I am still going to post video's from our trips, but things could get a lot more abstract.  Hopefully I can be more regular with my posts, and I think the posts are going to be a lot more interesting.  Until then, here's Cory working Table of Colors - 5.13a Red River Gorge, KY.  It's spring!!!  Happy Sending!!!
